At Teacher Treats, we understand the constraints of an academic calendar and the impossibility of choosing time off work, making teachers and their families vulnerable to unfair price hikes. We believe that teachers should not be punished for their vocation by paying double, sometimes even triple the average price, simply because they are dedicating their lives to teaching.

About Us
Teacher Treats was born from a personal experience of a dedicated teacher who found it challenging to remain in the teaching profession due to strict calendar constraints. While teaching, just like many other professions come with long hours, continued professional development and heavy workload, teaching is uniquely demanding and time constrained.
Teachers are not only tasked with planning and delivering academic services, but are also expected to provide extracurricular activities, mentorship, community outreach, and pastoral care (to name a few) — all within the constraints of a fixed academic calendar. Unlike other professions, taking time off as and when needed for rest or holiday is not an option for teachers. Instead, teachers must strictly adhere to set dates within a year to have their breaks. However, the cost of holidays in those set dates is considerably higher, making it unaffordable for teachers and thus making burnout a real and persistent reality within the profession.
Teachers love what they do and dedicate themselves to educating and empowering our youth, yet many leave the profession—and countless others never step into it, because the cost of caring becomes too great.
